Clear-enk Stables is located 5 minutes north of Rockwood, Ontario, Canada. As a small-scale breeder, we are able to give individualized attention and daily handling to our youngsters. From the moment of making a decision on a stallion for one of our broodmares, to the moment when the resulting "baby" takes it's first step onto the ramp of the trailer that will take him/her to their new home, we take great pride in the care and development of each particular horse!

Our breeding farm is situated on 52 acres which gives plenty of room for quality home-grown hay and lots of turnout for the horses. Our bedding of choice is straw, which is baled on neighbouring fields. Feed for the broodmares and growing horses is carefully monitored and fed in accordance to the strict needs and guidelines of the future athlete!

Youngsters are handled on a daily basis, therefore being mannerly and people-oriented. They receive plenty of turnout to socialize and "just be a horse"! Line shows give them the opportunity to learn to trailer and experience the activities of a horse show. Once ready to start under saddle, at the age of 3, our "babies" are brought along slowly and properly in the basics of dressage.

April 26--Congratulations to Rachel on the purchase of Molinaro Precious!

May 15--Congratulations to Marsha on the purchase of Coco Chanel!

May 23--Congratulations to Kim and Amelie on their successful debut in Pre-Training! They placed 2nd in the Pre-Training Senior B divison at Grandview Horse Trials with a dressage score of 62%! Amelie's full sister, Amberlie, is available.

May 24--Congratulations to Nitika for her awesome debut in the dressage ring! Nitika received an 81.11% in her Walk/Trot test and 65.65% in her Training Level Test 1 earning her two red ribbons! One of the judge's comments was "Mare shows tremendous potential for future endeavours!" This was a Conestoga Cadora show held at Tilanna Equestrian Centre. Nitika is for sale.

June 21--What a wonderful day for Kim and Amelie! At only their second Pre-Training Horse Trials, they placed 3rd out of 23 competitors!! 63% in dressage! Congrats you two! For full results, click here.

June 28--Another good day out for Nitika...despite the rain. In Training Level Test 1 we received a 67.39%, and in Training Level Test 2 (in a downpour!) we received a 59.28%. This Conestoga Cadora show was held at Travis Hall Equestrian Centre. Now that we're all dried out, hoping for sunny days ahead!

June 28--Kim and Amelie attended their first dressage show of the season.....a Glanbrook Cadora show held at Drummerhill Stables. In their Training Level Test 4 they received a 63.60%, and in First Level Test 1 they received an exciting 72%! I guess this means that Amelie enjoys the challenge of a more difficult test! Congratulations Kim and Amelie!

July 11--Congratulations to Kim and Amelie and their 4th place finish in Pre-Training at the Will O'Wind Horse Trials! Another big Senior division with close to 20 entries! We're thankful we didn't get the thunderstorms all day that they were calling for.

July 12--Congratulations to Jodie and Lola on their successful debut in the dressage ring! A gorgeous day weather-wise at Eastwood Equestrian Centre for a London Cadora show. In Training Level Test 4, Jodie and Lola earned a 2nd place finish with a score of 57.60% and in Training Level Test 3, a 3rd with 57.20%. July 25--We are thrilled with Mynieka's 2nd place finish at the Fieldstone Farm Breeder's Show!! A large class of ten Open Warmblood 2 yr olds!

July 26--Congratulations to Suzy and Wunder on their fabulous debut in the dressage ring at Reschburl Equestrian Centre! First time showing dressage for both rider and horse, and a great accomplishment...56.19% in Walk/Trot A and 60.95% in Walk/Trot B. Super job!

Aug. 1--A grand day at Grandview! Big congrats to Kim and Amelie for finishing 2nd out of 27 competitors in Pre-Training Senior B with a dressage score of 66.50%! They went clear with no times faults in both Stadium and Cross Country! Only 8, or 17%, of the competitors in the Pre-Training Senior divisions had double clears with no time out of almost 45 horse and rider combinations! (want a horse like Amelie??...check out Amberlie!)

Aug. 8--Glanbrook Cadora show at Fox Run Stables. 2nd. dressage show for Suzy and Wunder and a great couple of rides in spite of some major distractions! A 53.33% in Walk/Trot A and 64.76% in Walk/Trot B. Let the cantering begin!

          --Shirley and Nitika also attended this show and came home with a 2nd. and a score of 65.20% in Training Level Test 3, and a 1st. and a score of 75.20% in Training Level Test 4! Good girl Nitika!

          --Kim and Amelie were at the show too! They received the High Score of the Day Award for their impressive 80% and 1st. place finish in Training Level Test 3! Other accomplishements for the day were 2nd. and 74% in Training Level Test 4, and 1st and 73% in First Level! Well done Kim and Amelie!

Aug. 14--Kim and Amelie hit the top of the leaderboard on http://www.horsetrials.on.ca for Senior Pre-Training! Way to go!

Aug. 16--Congratulations to Jodie and Lola on another great day at Eastwood Equestrian Centre! At this London Cadora show, they received a 59.2% in both Training Level Test 3 and Training Level Test 4, for a 2nd and 3rd place finish respectively.

Aug. 17--Doing the happy dance because Mandy was confirmed in foal to the Dutch Warmblood, Phantom, today!!

Aug. 23--Another win for Kim and Amelie! This time at the Irish Creek Combined Show. An end of season upgrade to Training with a dressage score of 65.56% and a clear stadium round! Fabulous!

Aug. 30--A fall-like day, but a good day at Travis Hall for another Conestoga Cadora show. Congratulations to Suzy and Wunder for their 4th place finish in Walk/Trot out of 17 competitors with a score of 67.14%, and their 2nd place finish in Walk/Trot Equitation out of 9 competitors! Woo hoo! Also a big congrats to my best friend, Theresa, and her mount, Zuma, for their 1st in Training Level test 2 (67.85%) and their 2nd in Training Level test 3 (64.40%)! Both Suzy and Theresa have worked very hard over the summer and these are very rewarding results! Way to go you two (or should I say you "four")!!

Sept. 6--Congratulations to Kim and Amelie for their 6th place finish in Senior Pre-Training at the OHTA Championships at Headwaters! Stiff competition in a field of 23 horse and rider combinations! Well done!

Sept. 13--Congratulations to the Flax family on the purchase of Nitika!

Sept. 13--Two red ribbons for Jodie and Lola at the final London Cadora show of the season! More details to come.

Sept. 27--The final Glanbrook Cadora show of the season at Centre Line Equestrian and what a way to end the dressage season! Huge congratulations to Suzy and Wunder on their two 1st. place finishes in their walk/trot tests!! Walk/Trot A = 73.33% and Walk/Trot B = 77.61%. Next year, Training Level! Huge congratulations, also, to Kim and Amelie on their three 1st. place finishes...Training Level test 3 = 69.20%, Training Level test 4 = 70.80% and First Level test 1 = 68.67%!! Suzy also won the High Point Glanbrook Member award and Kim won the High Point Open award!
